Hello subhumans, I would like to take this opportunity to express some gratitude. Yesterday, I tweeted that I “love Twitter today” and I meant it. My mentions were flooded with birthday greetings, and wishes for the best for me.
As much as I would’ve loved to reply and say thank you to everyone who greeted, I really couldn’t, as we were in Myx, taping something for you. You’ll see it soon enough, and we hope you like it.
It was very humbling to see so many greetings popping up every time I checked my phone. I also received quite a bit of food throughout the day. My tummy and I say thanks to those who sent over the treats.
I am nothing special, by any stretch of the imagination. I am just a regular musician, and a mediocre one at that (but I try). So to get this amount of love is just…overwhelming. Even if any of you forget about me after my birthday, if the only tweet to me ever will be a “happy birthday,” or if one of your friends just asked you to greet, you were still a part of such an amazing day.
Once again, thank you for the greetings (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, email, etc).
I love you and I thank God for you guys everyday.
